POLIkol 600 belongs to the group of polyoxyethylene glycols (PEG with an average molecular weight of 600). INCI: PEG-12. The product is available as a high viscosity liquid or a soft white paste. POLIkol 600 is characterized by a wide range of application properties. It has excellent softening, lubricating, solubilizing and moisturizing properties, as well as good antielectrostatic effect and strong hygroscopic properties.

In cosmetic formulations POLIkol 600 acts as a solubilizer and a humectant, binding water. It can be effectively used to modify the rheology of active substances. Thanks to antielectrostatic properties, it is used in industrial cleaning and metalworking. Hygroscopic properties are used in the agrochemical industry, especially in the production of fertilizers. The product is also a raw material for the production of esters in the chemical industry.The product is successfully used for hardening concrete and cement mortars. Reduces water loss in the mix, ensuring stronger bonding of the material. With appropriate dosing, it increases the mechanical strength of the hardened concrete. The product can be used in the self-curing concrete.In addition, POLIkol 600 has a positive effect on the mechanical properties of polyurethane foams. With appropriate dosing to the system, it reduces brittleness and increases the compressive strength of foams.In addition, POLIkol 600 has a positive opinion from the FDA (Food and Drug Agency) which allows the use of polyethylene glycol in the form of a non-direct food additive based on CFR 21: 175.105, 175.210, 176.180, 176.200.It should be remembered that the product must be used in accordance with the definitions provided by the organization, not exceeding the maximum permitted dose.
