Rokopol® MS5225 is a polyether polyol in form of white, non-transparent liquid where copolymer content is 25%. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 25-29 mgKOH/g and dynamic viscosity within the range of 1800-2400 mPas at temp. 25°C.

Rokopol® MS5225 is used for production of high resilience (HR) flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock), batch foams and moulded foams. Using Rokopol® MS5225 and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), blocks of high resilience flexible foam (HR) with rectangular cross-section and height up to 100 cm can be produced. Main advantages of application of Rokopol® MS5225:

possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range 25-80 kg/m3, hardness within the range 2-7 kPa, and elasticity up to 55%,

tear resistance of the foam is above 50kPa and relative elongation at rupture above 60%,

possibility to use the polyol with reactive polymeric polyols in order to, e.g. remove the block trapezoid effect, increase block height and modify foam hardness, and optimize foam openness.
