ROKAnol® L80/50W belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. The product contains about 50% of the active substance. At room temperature it has the form of a clear, viscous liquid with a solidification point of approximately -1°C. Among other low-foaming products, it is distinguished by its high hydrophilicity and produces stable, clear aqueous solutions up to 100°C.

The product is part of the ROKAnol® LP series, a large number of low-foaming products dedicated to processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with particularly low foaming capacity. At the same time, it is important to maintain their application parameters, especially in institutional and industrial washing processes.The foaming properties of the product are significantly lower than those of non-ionic surfactants typically used in detergents (e.g. oxyethylated lauryl alcohol) while maintaining similar product stability in alkaline environments. This feature is one of the most important advantages of this product.The combination of high alkali resistance and low foaming capacity makes ROKAnol® L80/50W suitable for use primarily in alkaline detergents for industrial and institutional laundering, and as a component of auxiliary formulations in the textile industry. In this application, the product provides optimal detergency in alkaline conditions and low foaming capacity (intensive foam may disrupt the washing process, especially in continuous processes).The product can also be used in other cleaning formulations with increased alkalinity, e.g. in preparations for washing bottles, as well as in CIP (Clean In Place) processes. ROKAnol® L80/50W is completely biodegradable and meets the criteria of the Detergents Directive.Due to the highly hydrophilic nature of ROKAnol® L80/50W, the product is also used as a hydrophilic dispersant and emulsifier in a number of industrial applications, e.g. in metalworking fluids.
