Rokopol® FS3640 is a polyether polyol in form of white, non-transparent liquid where polymer content is 40%. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 25-30 mgKOH/g, and its dynamic viscosity is within the range of 3000-5500 mPas at temp. 25°C.

Rokopol® FS3640 is used for production of flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock) or for periodic production (batch). Using the polyol and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), blocks of flexible foam with rectangular cross-section and height up to 120 cm can be produced. Main advantages of application of Rokopol® FS3640:

possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range 20-80 kg/m3, hardness within the range 5-12kPa, and elasticity ca. 30%,

tear resistance of the foam is above 40kPa and relative elongation at rupture above 40%,

possibility to use the polyol with reactive polymeric polyols in order to, e.g. increase or decrease foam hardness.
