Rokopol® RF152V is a propoxylated Mannich base, reactive multifunctional polyether aromatic polyol for polyurethane (PUR) rigid and semi-rigid foam production in reaction with isocyanate. It exists in the form of orange to brown colour, without antioxidants. It retains high viscosity 5,000-10,000 mPas at temp. 25°C, high functionality of f~4.5 and high hydroxyl value of 410–450 mgKOH/g.

Rokopol® RF152V is reactive polyol, product dedicated to production of polyurethane PUR systems with medium and higher viscosity and very good mechanical properties of rigid PUR foam. Product is recommended in particular as polyether additive for production of closed-cell systems of spray foam PUR. Mannich polyols demonstrate very high miscibility with typical polyols for application of rigid foam, i.e. sorbitol, sucrose and with most polyester polyols. This ensures big freedom in designing new polyurethane systems of rigid PUR foam. Main advantages of application of Rokopol RF152V:

possibility of reducing concentration of the catalyst (important in particular with application of new physical foaming agents which have adverse effects on catalytic systems),

improved mechanical properties of the rigid foam core,

aromatic chemical structure improves flammability properties of the rigid PUR foam,

homogeneous and fine cell structure of the rigid PUR foam,

very good miscibility with hydrophobic n-pentane despite its unique hydrophilic nature.
